Aspen Funeral Alternatives

The Aspen Program

It's a fact:

Today's families are more cost conscious than ever. Outlet malls and discount stores offer convenience and value - why pay more?

Aspen Funeral Alternatives has adopted the concept of lower priced funeral products with the same high quality service, just few fewer options. A traditional funeral can be priced at $4,500 or more. Aspen is the high value low cost alternative - here's why:

At Aspen Funeral Alternatives, we have designed our services to minimize the overtime of our employees by limiting our hours of operation for our administrative and funeral teams to Monday-Friday between 8AM and 5PM. However, our transfer staff is still available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle the transfer of your loved one from the place of death to our facility. Of course, if you need to have a service on the weekend or in the evening we can assist you with those services for an additional fee.

We urge you to compare

While we offer a selection of caskets and urns similar to those of traditional funeral homes, our operational costs are lower. Therefore, we are able to offer our customers both value and low price.

We make arrangements simple

We simplify your decision making process by offering several standard packages or you can put together your own package by selecting from our full range of services.

What is a Funeral Alternative

We chose the word alternative to let people know that there are options to the traditional funeral. Today, like in everything else, choice is important. You will be amazed at the creativity that can be expressed through a service, ceremony, or memorial event.

Service - usually held to honor the person who has died, with or without the body present. This service provides a tribute to the life and allows the healing process to begin.

Visitation - a gathering of friends and family, usually at our facility. This provides a time and safe place to recollect, share memories, and allow friends and family to show that they care.

Memorial Reception - Refreshments can help create a relaxed atmosphere of sharing. Many families hold these receptions after the service as a convenience rather than worrying -- "is the house clean enough?"

Personalized Service - A firefighter might be taken to final resting in a procession of fire engines. A woman who loved gardening might have her casket or urn adorned with the roses she grew herself. The possibilities are as unique as the person being remembered.

Personalizing the Arrangements & Celebrating a Life

We want to make the service as individual as the individual, which is why we offer families a chance to personalize the arrangements. While we may deal with death on a daily basis, we never forget that completing all of the arrangements of a funeral service is a task most families face only a few times. You can rely upon us to work closely with you to arrange a service in keeping with your own traditions, and well within your financial means. We will coordinate with your clergy, the cemetery, and all the other parties to alleviate the stress on your family.

Our intention is to make every service personal, meaningful and truly reflective of the life that has been lived. For example, the reading of a favorite poem may enrich your service; it may be enhanced by the soft glow of candlelight or with memory tables to honor the life of your loved one. We will help you enhance the service by setting up personal items, special hobbies and interest items, favorite clothes, pictures, etc. You may personalize it with a special musical selection, family photographs or other memorabilia.

We offer a way to commemorate your loved ones life while keeping the services and merchandise within a budget that won't 'break the bank'.
